Medium Voltage Cells

- The offered MV cells are meant for compact substations and are designed for connection of the consumers to the MV Network.

- The MV cells provides the following functions :
     - Line Cell – for connection to the MV Network ;
     - Measuring Cell – for current and voltage measure on MV;
     - Internal services cell – provides LV voltage for internal substation services;
     - Transformer protection cells – designed for power transformers protection;
     - Other cells types (connection, transfer, coupling cell, etc.) ;

- The MV cells are spited in a couple categories looking at the construction type, as follows :
     - Modular or single block type ;
     - Extensible or Not Extensible ;
     - With switch or breaker commutation (fix or withdrawable);
     - Vacuum or SF6 switch medium ;

     - Schneider made :
     - Modular cells, with current bars in air and switch medium SF6 or vacuum, SM6 type;

- Single block with both the current bars and switching in common SF6 tank, RM6 type;

- ABB made:
     - Modular cells, with current bars in air and switch medium SF6 or vacuum, Uniswitch type;
     - Modular cells, with current bars in air and switch medium SF6 or vacuum, Unimix type;
     - Single block with both the current bars and switching in common SF6 tank, RMU Safe Ring type;
